In chapter 4, the ark of God was captured and the enemies prevailed.  *Note* 1. Israel fought a war without God in the center of the battle. It was like war of carnal men - the struggles of immoral and Godless people. 2. When they noticed that the enemy was gaining upper hands, they sent for the ark of God. The ark was brought by fornicator, rapist and armed robbers. The army of Israel became ungodly. They shouted for joy but God was not in it. 3. The enemy found out that God was away from them because *a living weapon in the hands of immoral sons and daughters of God is as good as dead weapon* 4. They were all defeated. *note* - God cannot be bribed. - Noises of ungodly sons/ daughters of God cannot move God. - Jubilation of sinning Christian shall not last forever. -
