…AND THE ANGELS MINISTERED UNTO HIM… (Part 2)

TEXT: “Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.” Matthew 4:11
THE REVIVER OF THE REVIVALISTS Acts 12: 6, 7
1. The revivalists are expected to bring life to the Church
2. To send down fire into the inner bones of Christians
3. They are expected to transform Church lukewarm attitude.
- But when down, they need a helping/guardian angels
- Holy Spirit is the number one reviver of the revivalist.
- You as a member of Christ body also are needed to stand in ceaseless intercession for the spiritual competence of Church leaders.
- For Church leaders to have a right and balance spiritual alignment, the church must become a prayer house.
“And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.”
Many things these days do subject men of God into spiritual chains and cages. Among which include:
i. Demonic attack
ii. Seduction during counseling, deliverance or follow up ministrations
iii. Immorality, lust, adultery and fornication
iv. Abject poverty
v. Set up or snares from co-ministers who are jealous of their colleague ministerial success etc.
It takes a cooperate intercession of unbiased church of God to bring down Angels from heaven that will bring deliverance to our deliverers and revival to our revivalists.
The modern days Churches –do they care? The devil had succeeded in turning the modern day Churches to collectors. The church is now filled up with members who only know the get-way-worship: which is Satan’s religious ideology opposing to God’s give-way. God have mercy o!
THE EARLY RISERS
“Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflames them!” Isaiah 5:11
Categories are in two.
1. The unwise/carnal risers. “The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.” Prov. 10:16
2. The envisioned early risers. “He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.” Prov. 10:17
The envisioned early risers possess three qualities:
1. Early understanding – of
(a) Inner potential
(b) God’s election/mandate
(c) Divine instructions
(d) Supremacy of eternal goals over human wants.
2. They are quick Achievers
- Their ability to understand and to master the purpose of their formation fans their early achievement.
3. Speedy Excellence in Life/Ministry
- Promotion, position and wealth do favour them.
THE BOND BREAKERS
- In fact, this is another need of God in today’s Church.
- As Satan now focuses on great Men of God – great Apostle Peter to be put in chains. A man in chain is a man in shame.
- The bond breakers are needed now all over Christian assemblies.
- They are the voices that could raise heavy hammer of prayer to break every satanic fetters, shackles and chains.
- The bond breakers are great criers.
- Remember, the early Church emergency vigil when Peter was imprisoned by an Antichrist King. Acts 12: 1 - ff
- The prayer that sent down emergency angel of deliverance is all we need not emergency vigil.
- Many Pastors are wasting away today.
- Many Evangelists turning back to follow Satan because of affliction in their flesh with no remedy, because there is no bond breaker.
- Many brethren are dying unknown/ unnoticed in enemy’s camp because there are no bond breakers.
- Simply because there is no bond breakers, witchcraft activities are carried out successfully on the New Testament Church altars.
- Where a group of bond breakers gather to pray, the angels come down to minister.
Acts 12:7
What Bond Breakers Do?
1. They revive the revivalist – v 7B
2. They cause early awakening to things of God
3. Minister Deliverance and Liberation to the Ministers.
4. They open heaven for the Angels to come down for immediate service.
FINALLY
AN ANGELIC MESSAGE TO LEARN FROM
1. Gird thyself/ loins – meaning Watchfulness and prayer
2. Cast thy garment about thee – meaning cover your nakedness i.e Holiness
3. And follow me – “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” 1Peter 2: 21.
Today, the Holy Spirit is saying to you -follow Jesus.
- Follow his prayer pattern
- Follow his Meekness and humility
- Follow his Readiness and preparedness
- Follow his Compassion and obedience
- Follow his Self-denial and self-sacrifice
- Follow his Preaching pattern and Soul wining style

PRAYER
i. Revive me Lord to revive your Church
ii. Deliver me Lord to deliver the world
iii. Conquer me Lord to conquer sin, the world and flesh in the name of Jesus.
iv. Holy Spirit give me early understanding of God’s will, purpose and provisions for my life.
