The unseen Powers that are visiting man in the night through dream to forcefully or cunningly cease the good proceedings from all his human efforts and industry during the day: this is called nocturnal tax collector.

Virtually all the mortal men make daily contribution when they are visited by nocturnal tax collector.
What each one is contributing or paying is different from person to person. We will learn more on John 10:10 in the next chapter. However let us take it here first, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.

Nocturnal Tax Collectors are special agents loitering around in the night looking for whom to steal from.

Any power visiting you in your night dream and forcing money, car key, flower, child, certificate, car or any valuable thing out of your hands or that had taken any such thing from you in one time or the other while sleeping: that is an agent, a nocturnal tax collector...
