In chapter 4, the ark of God was captured and the enemies prevailed.  *Note* 1. Israel fought a war without God in the center of the battle. It was like war of carnal men - the struggles of immoral and Godless people. 2. When they noticed that the enemy was gaining upper hands, they sent for the ark of God. The ark was brought by fornicator, rapist and armed robbers. The army of Israel became ungodly. They shouted for joy but God was not in it. 3. The enemy found out that God was away from them because *a living weapon in the hands of immoral sons and daughters of God is as good as dead weapon* 4. But we have different ears and hear from different perspectives. Bible has same Old time standard. But men of this generation had chosen to interpret it differently. God has same unconditional love for all, but churches of this age had faction out special love out of the divine love of God. The standard of the Lord remains. People may change but God doesn't need to change. Lesson for you this week: do not compromise your stand for modern teachings. Do not listen to the noise makers in their religious shrines.
